Research Participants Needed for a Study


EXPLORING MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIANS’ EXPERIENCES WITH ADDRESSING NON-DEATH-RELATED GRIEF AMONG FOSTER YOUTH

Purpose of the Study:

·         The purpose of this research is to explore mental health clinicians’ experiences in addressing non-death-related grief among youth in foster care and to fulfill the education requirement for the Advanced Study of Human Behavior doctoral program at Capella University.

Who is eligible:

·         Currently licensed mental health clinicians within the United States who work with youth ages 12 to 20 in foster care for at least six months

Who is NOT eligible:

·         Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapists

·         Those who know the researcher personally

Time Commitment: 

·         The virtual interview will take up to 90 minutes

·         Email responses and member checking 15 minutes

Study Details:

·         A short survey will collect demographic information at the time of the interview

·         Virtual interviews will explore the experiences that mental health clinicians have with fostered youth regarding non-death-related grief through a series of 9 semi-structured interview questions

Location:

·         Virtual Interviews on Zoom
